Recent announcements

  • 14th and Final Days Match Results:
    The 14th and last Days match was held on the Pier in the compound, this Saturday 08/04, with 11 members managing to squeeze on around the Bullnose to fight it out for the final Points up for grabs this season.
    The match was fished on a flooding tide and as per form the South side produced nearly all the fish.
    Rockling, Dabs, Pin Whiting and small Codling.
    The surprise of the day was a cracking early season Plaice.
    Heaviest Flat Fish George Clayton Plaice 640grms.
    Well done to Match winner John Sharples.

    The results of the 13th Days match are now in: 
    Thursday 27th February 2014
    Improvement in the catches with Flounders, Dabs and Whiting  in size.
    Night time fishing better than days.
